Morro Bay NATIONAL NIGHT OUT Aug 1, 2017

All Estero Bay Residents Welcome!

Bring a dish to share!  Hot dogs and drinks provided, Free drawing for the kids.

DATE:  Tuesday,  August 1, 2017
TIME:  5-7pm
LOCATION:  Cloisters Park, North Morro Bay

Get acquainted with our public service agencies and your neighbors! This is a night for Morro Bay to stand together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity.

On the 1st Tuesday in August community members throughout the Estero Bay area are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the Annual National Night Out” crime prevention event.

National Night Out is designed to:
  1. Heighten crime awareness
  2. Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts
  3. Meet our local public safety officers (police, fire, etc).
  4. Get to know your neighbors

National Night Out is sponsored by Morro Bay Police Department and Morro Bay Neighborhood Watch.

Residents and business owners throughout the Estero Bay area are invited to stop by and spend the evening with our public safety partners.

National Night Out

On the 1st Tuesday in August community members throughout the Morro Bay area are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the “31st Annual National Night Out” crime prevention event.

National Night Out is designed to:
  1. Heighten crime awareness
  2. Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts
  3. Strengthen police – community partnerships.

National Night Out, which is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored by Morro Bay Police Department and Morro Bay Neighborhood Watch, will involve over 15,704 communities from all 50states. In all, over 37.5 million people are expected to participate in “America’s Night Out Against Crime”.

Residents and business owners throughout the Morro Bay area are invited to stop by and spend the evening with the police.  Morro Bay Police Chief Amy Christey said  “This is a night for Morro Bay to stand together to promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police – community partnerships and citizen involvement in keeping our community safe.”
